Ripped off.

Today, the music majors went to see the Simon Bolivar Youth Orchestra from Venezuala. Yes, they were AMAZING. HOWEVER. One point. DUDAMEL WAS NOT THERE. I MISSED CARNIVAL DAY TO SEE GUSTAVO DUDAMEL, AND HE NEVER CONDUCTED. WWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH.

Okay. I'm done my rant. ANYWAYS, they were absolutely AMAZING. Their finale was very memorable... You know how in Nodame Cantabile, the S-Orch always dances around and makes weird movements? That's EXACTLY what they did. They were spinning thier cellos and flipping their trumpets and juggling their mallets and... WAGH. 3 french hornists did two laps around the stage while playing xD So wrong on so many levels (professionally) but it was all very fun :D

I wonder what would happen if we did that during one of our performances... How many heads woould Geftie have? Hm...

French work time. I have an assignment due tomorrow...and like always, I haven't started.
BAH. I should;ve dropped French '=.=

At home, you'd find me either infront of the computer, avoiding one thing or another by randomly using the internet, or slaving away on a composition or arrangement.

I love colours. Namely, really vibrant colours.

Music is my thing. I play piano, flute, alto saxophone, clarinet, and a little classical guitar. I'm starting my first year as a flute major at an arts program for high school. Let's see if I survive... I really enjoy writing things for piano and the occassional small ensemble. I really really really want a MIDI keyboard so I don't need to go and enter every note into the computer. ('Cause writing things down is less awesome.)

As most of my friends know, I have ZERO photoshop skills... So any pictures you see that are mine will not be edited aside from the ocassional increase of contrast, lighting, saturation, etc.

Yes, I'm half Chinese. Now stop asking. (Half French and Irish.)

Kareoke is fun, but I can't sing for the life of me. Just thought I should get that out there.
